Comparison review
The Asus ZenPad Z8s is slightly better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a general score of 62.6 against 57.6. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but Asus ZenPad Z8s has 7.0 Nougat version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even when Asus ZenPad Z8s and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD were released with only 9 months difference, Asus ZenPad Z8s is lighter and thinner.
Asus ZenPad Z8s counts with a bit better looking screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a little higher screen pixels density. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD and Asus ZenPad Z8s have really similar memory for games and applications, both of them have a SD extension slot that allows up to 128 GB and the same 16 GB internal storage capacity.
The Asus ZenPad Z8s counts with a little better performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and 3 GB of RAM memory. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD captures much clearer videos and photos than Asus ZenPad Z8s, although it has a back facing camera with a lot lower resolution. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has just a bit better battery duration than Asus ZenPad Z8s, because it has a 9 percent bigger battery capacity.
