Comparison review

The Asus MeMO Pad is just a bit better than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD, getting a general score of 45 against 41.8. Asus MeMO Pad is a somewhat heavier tablet than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, but both have the same thickness. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but the Asus MeMO Pad has the newer 4.1 version and Barnes & Noble Nook HD has Android 4.0 version, counting with some additional features.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD counts with a little better processing power than Asus MeMO Pad, because although it has a slower graphics co-processor working at 384 MHz, and they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also counts with a larger number of faster cores. Barnes & Noble Nook HD features a much better looking screen than Asus MeMO Pad, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has a lot higher 900 x 1440 resolution and a better pixels density.

The Barnes & Noble Nook HD counts with a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has more internal memory. Asus MeMO Pad has a really longer battery life than Barnes & Noble Nook HD.
