Asus VivoTab RT is much better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, having a 59.6 score against 41.8. Asus VivoTab RT works with Windows RT operating system, and Barnes & Noble Nook HD works with Android 4.0 operating system. The Asus VivoTab RT construction is way heavier but way thinner than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD, and both were released only 4 months apart.

The Asus VivoTab RT features a little bit better performance than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more 1300 megahertz cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a much better display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 900 x 1440px resolution and a much better display density.

Asus VivoTab RT has just a bit bigger storage for apps and games than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. Asus VivoTab RT features a much better camera than Barnes & Noble Nook HD. The Asus VivoTab RT counts with a battery lifetime that's just as good as the Barnes & Noble Nook HD one.

The Asus VivoTab RT costs a bit more than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
