Comparison review

The HP Slate 7 has a score of 45.3, which is a little bit better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD's score of 41.8. HP Slate 7's construction is just a little bit thinner but heavier than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, and they were released only 5 months apart. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but HP Slate 7 has the newer 4.1 version and Barnes & Noble Nook HD has Android 4.0.

The Barnes & Noble Nook HD features a much better looking display than HP Slate 7, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has a higher amount of pixels per inch of screen and a lot higher 900 x 1440 pixels resolution. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than HP Slate 7, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has more internal storage.

HP Slate 7 counts with a processing unit that is just as good as the Barnes & Noble Nook HD one, and although the HP Slate 7 has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, they both have the same RAM memory amount and a Dual-Core CPU. HP Slate 7 counts with a lot better camera than Barnes & Noble Nook HD.

HP Slate 7 and Barnes & Noble Nook HD count with extremely similar batteries duration.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the HP Slate 7 is also a lot cheaper.
