Comparison review

Toshiba Excite 10 is a little bit better than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD, having a overall score of 45 against 41.8. Toshiba Excite 10's body is somewhat thinner but incredibly heavier than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, and both of them were only released with a few months difference. Both tablets in this comparison use the same Android 4.0 OS, so both should provide identical OS features.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD features a much greater hardware performance than Toshiba Excite 10, because although it has 2 less CPU cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also counts with an additional GPU. Barnes & Noble Nook HD counts with an incredibly better display than Toshiba Excite 10, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a little higher 900 x 1440px resolution and a much better count of pixels per display inch.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD has much more memory for apps and games than Toshiba Excite 10. Both of them have exactly the same internal storage. Toshiba Excite 10 captures way better photographs and videos than Barnes & Noble Nook HD. Toshiba Excite 10 has a battery duration that is just as good as the battery lifetime in Barnes & Noble Nook HD.

Toshiba Excite 10 not only is the best tablets in our comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest.
