ARCHOS 101 Titanium has a general score of 46.3, which is a little bit better than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+'s 42.3 general score. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but the ARCHOS 101 Titanium has a newer 4.1 version while Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has Android 4.0. ARCHOS 101 Titanium's body is notably heavier but just a little thinner than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, and both were released with only a couple months difference.
The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ counts with an incredibly better looking screen than ARCHOS 101 Titanium, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1280 x 1920 pixels and a lot better screen density. ARCHOS 101 Titanium counts with a little better performance than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory and 2 processing cores, the ARCHOS 101 Titanium also has a faster GPU working at 1.06 gigahertz.
The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ counts with a greater memory for apps and games than ARCHOS 101 Titanium, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory capacity. ARCHOS 101 Titanium counts with a battery life that's just as good as the battery performance in Barnes & Noble Nook HD+.
ARCHOS 101 Titanium takes much clearer videos and photos than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+.
