Comparison review

HP Slate 7 has an overall score of 45.3, which is a bit better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+'s 42.3 score. The HP Slate 7 design is just a little thinner and way lighter than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, even when both of them were only released with a few months difference. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the HP Slate 7 has a newer 4.1 version and Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has Android 4.0 version, so it counts with lots of additional features and performance tweaks.

The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ counts with a bit superior processing unit than HP Slate 7, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Dual-Core processing unit, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ also has an extra GPU. Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ features a sharper screen than HP Slate 7, because it has a bigger display, a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a much better 1280 x 1920 pixels resolution.

The HP Slate 7 shoots way better pictures and videos than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+. Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than HP Slate 7, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ also has 16 GB internal memory capacity.

HP Slate 7 and Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ count with really similar batteries duration.

In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the HP Slate 7 is also a lot cheaper.
