The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a general score of 66.5, which is a lot better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+'s overall score of 42.3. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has Android 4.0. Even though the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ were released with only 7 months difference, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is somewhat thinner and extremely lighter.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a bit better processing unit than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, and although they both have 2 cores, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has a greater amount of RAM and a much better graphics processing unit working at 450 MHz. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a larger display, a lot greater display density and a lot better resolution of 1280 x 1920px.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 shoots greater pictures and videos than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a slightly better storage capacity for games and applications than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 costs a little more than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
