Comparison review

The Acer Iconia B1 is just a bit better than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD, with a global score of 44.2 against 41. Despite being the best in this comparison review, Acer Iconia B1 is an a bit heavier and a bit thicker portable tablet than Barnes & Noble Nook HD. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Acer Iconia B1 has a newer 4.1.2 version and Barnes & Noble Nook HD has Android 4.0, providing you some nice extra features and performance enhancements.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD counts with a more vivid display than Acer Iconia B1, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has a better amount of pixels per display inch and a lot higher resolution of 900 x 1440px. Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a little better processing power than Acer Iconia B1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has a much better 384 megahertz graphics processing unit and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Acer Iconia B1 has a lot better camera than Barnes & Noble Nook HD. The Acer Iconia B1's memory capacity for apps and games is just as good as the Barnes & Noble Nook HD one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory and a SD card slot that allows up to 32 GB. The Acer Iconia B1 has a much longer battery duration than Barnes & Noble Nook HD.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Acer Iconia B1 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
