The Microsoft Surface RT has a global score of 58.4, which is a lot better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD's global score of 41. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS, and Barnes & Noble Nook HD has Android 4.0 OS. Although the Microsoft Surface RT and Barnes & Noble Nook HD were released with only a few months difference, the Microsoft Surface RT design is much heavier but somewhat thinner.
