Comparison review
Toshiba Excite 10 is a bit better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, having a overall score of 45 against 41. Toshiba Excite 10's body is somewhat thinner but way heavier than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, and both of them were only released with a couple months difference. Both of these devices work with the same Android 4.0 OS, so they should give identical operating system features.
Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a way better display than Toshiba Excite 10, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 900 x 1440 and a way higher display density. Barnes & Noble Nook HD features a slightly better memory to store more games and applications than Toshiba Excite 10, although it has only 8 GB internal storage capacity.
Barnes & Noble Nook HD features a much greater hardware performance than Toshiba Excite 10, because although it has 2 less processing cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Toshiba Excite 10 has a way better camera than Barnes & Noble Nook HD.
The Barnes & Noble Nook HD and the Toshiba Excite 10 feature really similar batteries duration.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the Toshiba Excite 10 is also very cheap compared to the other devices, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
