The iPad Air is a lot better than the BlackBerry 4G PlayBook, getting a global score of 72.8 against 48.3. IPad Air is a way newer and incredibly thinner tablet device than the BlackBerry 4G PlayBook, but it is somewhat heavier. The iPad Air has iOS 8.x operating system, and BlackBerry 4G PlayBook has BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system.
The Apple iPad Air features an extremely better processor than BlackBerry 4G PlayBook, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM and the same number of cores, the Apple iPad Air also has an extra GPU and a 64-bit processing unit.
