Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a score of 64.9, which is much better than BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+'s 56.1 general score. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 body is thicker and notably heavier than BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+. Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has Windows 8 operating system, while BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+ has BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system.
BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+ and Samsung ATIV Tab 7 feature really similar screens, although the Samsung ATIV Tab 7 also has a way better resolution of 1080 x 1920, a lot larger display and a just a little greater pixel density. Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+, because it has 224 GB more internal storage capacity.
The BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+ features a much better performing CPU than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has lesser RAM and a slower GPU, it also counts with more cpu cores. BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+ has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung ATIV Tab 7. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7's camera is very similar to the camera in BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+, they have a same resolution back-facing camera.
