Acer Iconia W4 has a global score of 59.3, which is slightly better than the BlackBerry PlayBook's score of 54.2. Acer Iconia W4 counts with Windows 8.1 OS, and BlackBerry PlayBook counts with BlackBerry Tablet OS OS. Acer Iconia W4 is a just a little bit heavier device than BlackBerry PlayBook, but they are equally thin.
Acer Iconia W4 counts with a better looking screen than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has a just a bit more pixels per display inch, a little bigger screen and a better 800 x 1280 resolution. Acer Iconia W4 has as much storage capacity for games and applications as BlackBerry PlayBook, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity.

Although Acer Iconia W4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than BlackBerry PlayBook, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as BlackBerry PlayBook. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Acer Iconia W4, else you can save some money and get the BlackBerry PlayBook, giving up a couple specs and features.
