Comparison review
The Acer Iconia W700 is a little bit better than the BlackBerry PlayBook, having a 59.6 score against 54.2. Acer Iconia W700's body is much newer than the BlackBerry PlayBook's, but it is notably thicker and noticeably heavier. The Acer Iconia W700 has Windows 8 Pro operating system, while BlackBerry PlayBook works with BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system.
The Acer Iconia W700 counts with a little bit better looking display than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has a much larger display, a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The Acer Iconia W700 features a much greater storage to install games and applications than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has more internal memory.
The Acer Iconia W700 has a better processing unit than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Acer Iconia W700 also has more RAM memory and a better 650 megahertz graphics processing unit. The BlackBerry PlayBook captures much better photographs and videos than Acer Iconia W700. They have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a same resolution back-facing camera.
Acer Iconia W700 counts with a battery duration that is very similar to the battery duration in BlackBerry PlayBook.
Although Acer Iconia W700 is a better device, it is way more expensive than BlackBerry PlayBook, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the BlackBerry PlayBook. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Acer Iconia W700, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the BlackBerry PlayBook, letting go a couple specs and features.
