Comparison review
Acer Predator 8 is a little bit better than BlackBerry PlayBook, getting a global score of 57.7 against 54.2. The Acer Predator 8 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, while BlackBerry PlayBook has BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system. The Acer Predator 8 is a way newer tablet, and it is also lighter and thinner than BlackBerry PlayBook.
Acer Predator 8 has a bit better looking display than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has a much higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a bit larger screen. Acer Predator 8 counts with a bit better performance than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM.
BlackBerry PlayBook counts with a much better camera than Acer Predator 8. Both of them have a 5 megapixels resolution back-facing camera. Acer Predator 8 has a bit more storage capacity to store more apps and games than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports up to 128 GB.
The Acer Predator 8 features a really longer battery life than BlackBerry PlayBook.
Although Acer Predator 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than BlackBerry PlayBook, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the BlackBerry PlayBook. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the BlackBerry PlayBook, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
