Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a general score of 60.4, which is much better than the BlackBerry PlayBook's 54.2 global score. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a thinner and a little lighter portable tablet than the BlackBerry PlayBook. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 works with Android 4.3 OS, while BlackBerry PlayBook works with BlackBerry Tablet OS OS.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has just a bit better performance than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has a worse graphics co-processor, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a higher number of cores. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a sharper screen than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has a better resolution of 1280 x 800, a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a bit bigger screen.
The BlackBerry PlayBook counts with a much greater memory for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a much longer battery performance than BlackBerry PlayBook. The BlackBerry PlayBook takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 5 MP, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has a way higher (Full HD) video quality.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 costs more than the BlackBerry PlayBook, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
