Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro is much better than the BlackBerry PlayBook, getting a 63.2 score against 54.2. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro operating system, while BlackBerry PlayBook counts with BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro's design is newer than the BlackBerry PlayBook's, but it's a lot heavier and much thicker.
The Microsoft Surface Pro features a better performing CPU than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has more RAM and a faster GPU working at 650 MHz. Microsoft Surface Pro features just a bit better looking screen than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has a little bit higher screen density, a really bigger screen and a way higher 1080 x 1920px resolution.
Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a much bigger memory for applications and games than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The BlackBerry PlayBook shoots way better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a camera with way more mega-pixels and a way higher (Full HD) video quality.
The Microsoft Surface Pro and BlackBerry PlayBook have very similar batteries performance.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than BlackBerry PlayBook, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as BlackBerry PlayBook. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the BlackBerry PlayBook, resigning a couple specifications.
