Comparison review
Microsoft Surface RT is a little bit better than the BlackBerry PlayBook, having a global score of 58.4 against 54.2. The Microsoft Surface RT design is newer and just a bit thinner than the BlackBerry PlayBook's, although it is also noticeably heavier. The Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT OS, and BlackBerry PlayBook counts with BlackBerry Tablet OS OS.
BlackBerry PlayBook has a little bit better screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a really smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a bit better quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Microsoft Surface RT has a bit better hardware performance than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has a weaker GPU working at 520 megahertz, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 1 GB more RAM.
BlackBerry PlayBook features a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels. The BlackBerry PlayBook and the Microsoft Surface RT count with really similar storage to install applications and games, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
Microsoft Surface RT counts with a battery lifetime that is very similar to BlackBerry PlayBook's battery lifetime.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, the Microsoft Surface RT is also by far the cheapest.
