Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is much better than the BlackBerry PlayBook, having a score of 66.7 against 54.2. The Samsung Ativ Tab body is newer and somewhat thinner, but noticeably heavier than BlackBerry PlayBook. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT operating system, and BlackBerry PlayBook comes with BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system.
BlackBerry PlayBook counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a really smaller display and a way worse 600 x 1024px resolution, it also counts with a little better pixels number in each inch of display. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit better performance than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has a weaker graphics processing unit, and they both have 2 cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also counts with more RAM. The BlackBerry PlayBook captures much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have a back camera with a 5 MP, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has a much higher (Full HD) video quality.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a much longer battery duration than BlackBerry PlayBook.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than BlackBerry PlayBook, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as BlackBerry PlayBook. If you are trying to save some money, you can get BlackBerry PlayBook, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
