Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a lot better than BlackBerry PlayBook, having a global score of 68.7 against 54.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's design is newer, a lot lighter and extremely thinner than BlackBerry PlayBook. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with Android 4.2.2 operating system, and BlackBerry PlayBook comes with BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a bit more vivid display than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has a higher 800 x 1280px resolution, a quite larger display and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a superior processing power than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a greater amount of RAM and a much better graphics processor.
The BlackBerry PlayBook has a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a much longer battery duration than BlackBerry PlayBook.
BlackBerry PlayBook has a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has a much better 1920x1080 video definition.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is more expensive than BlackBerry PlayBook, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
