Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a general score of 62.8, which is much better than BlackBerry PlayBook's general score of 54.2. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 design is notably newer, way thinner and much lighter than the BlackBerry PlayBook. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with Android 7.1 Nougat OS, while BlackBerry PlayBook counts with BlackBerry Tablet OS OS.
The BlackBerry PlayBook has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a bit worse 600 x 1024 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher amount of pixels in each inch in the screen. The BlackBerry PlayBook features a bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has just a little better hardware performance than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 512 MB more RAM and a larger number of cores. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a much longer battery duration than BlackBerry PlayBook. BlackBerry PlayBook takes much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a back camera with a 5 MP resolution, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has a much better video resolution.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also cheaper than the other tablet, which makes this tablet an easy choice.
