Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a global score of 68.3, which is better than the Blackview MEGA 1's 59.7 global score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s design is lighter than Blackview MEGA 1, although it is thicker and was released many years before. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version and Blackview MEGA 1 has Android 13 version, providing the user a lot of extra features and a performance increase.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a much powerful processor than Blackview MEGA 1, although it has 4 lesser cpu cores and less RAM. The Blackview MEGA 1 counts with a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a little more pixels per inch of screen, a lot bigger display and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots clearer photographs and videos than Blackview MEGA 1, although it has a lot less MP resolution back-facing camera. Blackview MEGA 1 features much more storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage capacity.

The Blackview MEGA 1 features a way better battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 76% greater battery capacity.
