Comparison review
Blackview MEGA 1 is just a bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a score of 59.7 against 57.6. Although the Blackview MEGA 1 is heavier than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, it's just a little bit thinner and also newer. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS, but Blackview MEGA 1 has an older 13 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a screen that is just as good as the Blackview MEGA 1 one, because although the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a bit worse resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. Blackview MEGA 1 has much more memory for apps and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a lot better performance than Blackview MEGA 1, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Blackview MEGA 1 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has an 8800mAh battery capacity.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes much clearer pictures and videos than Blackview MEGA 1, although it has a camera with a much worse 8 MP resolution.
