Comparison review
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is just a bit better than the Blackview Tab 8, having a 57.6 score against 57.1. Despite of the fact that the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is notably older than the Blackview Tab 8, it's body is much lighter and somewhat thinner. Both devices in this comparison review have Android operating system, but the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Blackview Tab 8 has Android 11 version, so it gives you lots of additional features.
Blackview Tab 8 has a little better performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Blackview Tab 8 also has more RAM memory. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a little bit better display than Blackview Tab 8, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1200 x 1920px, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also counts with a higher screen pixel density.
Blackview Tab 8 features a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD captures much better pictures and videos than Blackview Tab 8, although it has a back facing camera with a way lower resolution and a lower (Full HD) video quality.
The Blackview Tab 8 has improved battery performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 6580mAh battery capacity.
