Comparison review
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is just a bit better than the Blackview Tab 9, with a global score of 57.6 against 57.3. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has 6.0 Marshmallow version while Blackview Tab 9 has Android 11, providing a lot of extra features. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD body is just a little thinner and notably lighter than Blackview Tab 9, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a little sharper screen than Blackview Tab 9, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1200 x 1920, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also counts with a greater display density. Blackview Tab 9 counts with a better storage for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
Blackview Tab 9 features a little faster processing unit than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Blackview Tab 9 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. Blackview Tab 9 features a much better battery lifetime than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 47% greater battery size.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a lot better camera than Blackview Tab 9, although it has a back camera with way less mega pixels resolution and a worse video resolution.
