Comparison review
The iPad mini 3 is much better than the Dell Venue 8 7840, with a 77.5 score against 61. IPad mini 3 comes with iOS 8.x operating system, and Dell Venue 8 7840 has Android 4.4 operating system. Even being the best tablet in this comparison, iPad mini 3 is a heavier and way thicker tablet than Dell Venue 8 7840.
Dell Venue 8 7840 features a bit better performance than iPad mini 3, and although they both have a 64-bit CPU and a 600 megahertz graphics processor, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has a greater amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (and also faster). Apple iPad mini 3 and Dell Venue 8 7840 both feature incredibly similar displays, although the Apple iPad mini 3 has a bit lower screen density, a quite lower resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a bit smaller screen.
The iPad mini 3 has a better storage capacity for apps and games than Dell Venue 8 7840, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage. IPad mini 3 counts with a really longer battery life than Dell Venue 8 7840. The iPad mini 3 costs a lot more money than Dell Venue 8 7840, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
