Comparison review
The Dell Venue 8 7840 is a little bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0, getting a 61 score against 58.6. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Dell Venue 8 7840 has the older 4.4 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. Dell Venue 8 7840's body is somewhat lighter and much thinner than LG G Pad 8.0.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with a better looking screen than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a quite larger display, a way greater pixel density and a lot better 2560 x 1600 resolution. Dell Venue 8 7840 has a much faster processor than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has a much better 600 MHz GPU, a 64-bits processor and more RAM.
Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Dell Venue 8 7840 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a very superior battery life than Dell Venue 8 7840.
