Comparison review
The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a global score of 59.6, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 global score. Dell Venue 8 Pro's body is just a bit thinner and much lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT. These tablets use Windows OS (Operating System), but Dell Venue 8 Pro has the older 8.1 Pro version and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT version.
The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a CPU that's just as good as the Dell Venue 8 Pro one, and although the Microsoft Surface RT has a graphics processor, they both have a Quad-Core CPU and a 2 GB RAM. The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a much better looking display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch of screen.
Dell Venue 8 Pro features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface RT. Both of them have equal internal storage. Dell Venue 8 Pro features a superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT. The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a camera with much more mega-pixels.
Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Dell Venue 8 Pro, else you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple specs and features.
