The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a score of 59.6, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 overall score. Dell Venue 8 Pro has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with Android 4.0.4 OS. Dell Venue 8 Pro's construction is notably lighter but just a little thicker than Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a greater number of cores. The Dell Venue 8 Pro features just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also counts with a greater screen pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a little bit better camera than Dell Venue 8 Pro, although it has a back camera with a lot worse resolution.
