The Google Nexus 10 is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, getting a overall score of 68.1 against 67.9. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Google Nexus 10 has 5.1 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4, so it provides you some extra features and some performance improvements.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit sharper screen than Google Nexus 10, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1600 x 2560, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a bit better display density. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 10, because it has 32 GB more internal storage.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a higher number of cores.
