The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is much better than Google Nexus 10, getting an 82.4 score against 68.1. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) works with Windows 10 Pro operating system, and Google Nexus 10 has Android 5.1 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s construction is way newer and just a little thinner, but way heavier than Google Nexus 10.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a bit faster CPU than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has more RAM memory. Google Nexus 10 features a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a little lower resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better count of pixels per inch of display.

The Google Nexus 10 features a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a worse 1920x1080 video definition and a back camera with much less megapixels. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Google Nexus 10, because it has 968 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Google Nexus 10 has a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).

Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Nexus 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Nexus 10. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Nexus 10, giving up a couple specs and features.
