Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 68.7, which is a bit better than the Google Nexus 10's score of 68.1. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the previous 4.2.2 version and Google Nexus 10 has Android 5.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch design is somewhat thinner and way lighter than the Google Nexus 10, even when both were released with only 7 months difference.
The Google Nexus 10 features a lot better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a bigger screen, a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and way more pixels per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a little bit better processing power than Google Nexus 10, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 2 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
The Google Nexus 10 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have the same resolution camera, the Google Nexus 10 also has a much better (Full HD) video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features much more storage to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB.
The Google Nexus 10 features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 102 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a better device, it costs more than the Google Nexus 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Nexus 10. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Nexus 10, giving up a couple specs and features.
