Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a score of 70.8, which is better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's overall score of 60.8. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a more recent 5.0 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, providing some additional features and improved performance. Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a a little lighter and a little thinner tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, even though they were released only 2 months apart.
