Huawei MediaPad X2 is a bit better than the Google Nexus 7 (2013), with a 72.7 score against 70.8. Both tablets in our current comparison have the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding OS features. The Huawei MediaPad X2 is a newer tablet, and it is also somewhat thinner and lighter than Google Nexus 7 (2013).

Huawei MediaPad X2 has a bit more vivid display than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have a screen with the same size, the same pixels density and the same 1920 x 1200px resolution, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a brighter screen. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a superior processing power than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory, a 64-bit processor and a higher number of cores.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 128 GB. The Huawei MediaPad X2 has greater battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 27% larger battery capacity.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with just a bit better camera than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a camera in the back with way more megapixels.

Although Huawei MediaPad X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Nexus 7 (2013). If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Google Nexus 7 (2013), giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
