Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is slightly better than Google Nexus 7 (2013), getting a 75.8 score against 70.8. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version and Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0 version. Even though the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) and Google Nexus 7 (2013) were released only 1 months apart, Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s body is a little thinner but also heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has just a bit better performance than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has more RAM memory and a much better graphics processing unit running at 450 megahertz. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a little more vivid screen than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has a quite worse quantity of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a much larger display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Google Nexus 7 (2013) captures clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a lower video resolution and a much less megapixels back-facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has an 8220mAh battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Nexus 7 (2013), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Nexus 7 (2013). So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Google Nexus 7 (2013), resigning some specs and features.
