The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has an overall score of 70.8, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 general score. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) body is newer, thinner and incredibly lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a newer 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version, so it counts with a couple additional features.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a lot better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a much greater pixels amount per screen inch. Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a higher number of cores , an extra graphics co-processor and a higher amount of RAM.
