Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a lot better than the Acer Iconia A1, getting a score of 70.7 against 54.6. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) design is incredibly lighter and a lot thinner than Acer Iconia A1. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has newer 5.0 version and Acer Iconia A1 has Android 4.1.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) features just a little better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A1, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has 1 GB more RAM and a much better graphics co-processor running at 400 megahertz. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a sharper display than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher pixel density and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.

The Acer Iconia A1 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013). Both of them have the same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity.
