The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, having a 70.7 score against 67.4. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a little bit better processing power than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has less cpu cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a better graphics co-processor running at 1.06 GHz. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixel density and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a slightly better storage to install applications and games than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with just a little better battery performance than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity instead of 3950mAh.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's camera is very similar to the Google Nexus 7 (2013) one, they have the same video frame rates, a camera with a 5 megapixels resolution and the same 1280x720 video definition.
Google Nexus 7 (2013) costs exactly the same than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, making it an easy choice.
