The Google Nexus 7 has a global score of 59.3, which is slightly better than Acer Predator 8's 57.7 global score. Google Nexus 7 is a noticeably older and thicker tablet device than the Acer Predator 8, but Google managed to build it just a bit lighter anyway. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 7 has the older 5.1 version and Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

Google Nexus 7 features a little more vivid screen than Acer Predator 8, although it has a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280, a just a bit lower screen density and a quite smaller display. Acer Predator 8 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Acer Predator 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 128 GB.

The Acer Predator 8 and Google Nexus 7 feature incredibly similar CPUs, because although the Acer Predator 8 has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, it also counts with more RAM. The Acer Predator 8 captures way better videos and photos than Google Nexus 7. The Acer Predator 8 has a bit better battery duration than Google Nexus 7, because it has a 4420mAh battery size.

Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Google Nexus 7 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, which makes it very easy to pick between these devices.
