Comparison review
The Google Nexus 7 has a score of 59.3, which is slightly better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 score. The Google Nexus 7 is a much older and a little bit thicker tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Google made it a little lighter anyway. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 has an older 5.1 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Google Nexus 7 has a brighter display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a bit better processing power than Google Nexus 7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 4 cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) captures a lot better photos and videos than Google Nexus 7.
The Google Nexus 7 features a way better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Google Nexus 7 is a better device, it costs more than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
