Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is better than the Google Nexus 7, having a score of 67.9 against 59.3. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a much newer and thinner device than Google Nexus 7, but it's also just a little heavier. Both devices in this comparison work with Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.4 version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit better processing unit than Google Nexus 7, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a more vivid screen than Google Nexus 7, because it has a bigger screen, a much better 1600 x 2560px resolution and a lot greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 7, because it has 64 GB internal storage.
