Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 68.5, which is much better than the Google Nexus 7's 59.3 score. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.2.2 version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a newer and noticeably thinner device than Google Nexus 7, although it is also somewhat heavier.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has just a little better performance than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has more RAM and a much better graphics processor running at 450 megahertz.
