Comparison review
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has an overall score of 61.5, which is slightly better than Google Nexus 7's 59.3 general score. Huawei MediaPad M1 is a newer tablet, and it is also just a bit lighter and thinner than Google Nexus 7. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad M1 has older 4.2.2 version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1.
Google Nexus 7 has a little better processing power than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory and 4 cores, the Google Nexus 7 also has a GPU. Google Nexus 7 has a little sharper display than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a bit higher pixel density.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a way better camera than Google Nexus 7. The Google Nexus 7 features a much bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 24 GB more internal storage. Huawei MediaPad M1 has just a little bit longer battery duration than Google Nexus 7, because it has a 4800mAh battery size.
Although Huawei MediaPad M1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 7. If you want to save some money, you can get the Google Nexus 7, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
