Microsoft Surface 2 has a general score of 63.4, which is a bit better than the Google Nexus 7's overall score of 59.3. Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 OS, and Google Nexus 7 counts with Android 5.1 OS. The Microsoft Surface 2 body is newer and thinner than Google Nexus 7's, although it's way heavier.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Google Nexus 7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Microsoft Surface 2 also counts with a greater amount of RAM. The Google Nexus 7 features a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a just a little better pixel amount per display inch.
Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a much better camera than Google Nexus 7.
