Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a general score of 65.1, which is a bit better than the Google Nexus 7's overall score of 59.3. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Google Nexus 7 counts with Android 5.1 OS. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 construction is newer than the Google Nexus 7's, although it's notably thicker and much heavier.
The Google Nexus 7 counts with a little bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a way worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher display density. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Google Nexus 7, because it has more internal memory.
Google Nexus 7 and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 both feature very similar processing units, because although the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has doesn't have an additional graphics processor and lesser cores (although they are faster), it also counts with more RAM.
