Samsung Ativ Tab is better than Google Nexus 7, getting a overall score of 66.7 against 59.3. Even though the Samsung Ativ Tab and Google Nexus 7 were only released with a few months difference, the Samsung Ativ Tab construction is notably heavier but also thinner than Google Nexus 7. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT operating system, and Google Nexus 7 works with Android 5.1 operating system.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a processing unit that's just as good as the Google Nexus 7 one, because although the Samsung Ativ Tab has an inferior number of cores and a slower 400 megahertz graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory. The Google Nexus 7 features a sharper display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a way smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has much more memory for games and applications than Google Nexus 7, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Ativ Tab features a superior battery performance than Google Nexus 7, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way better camera than Google Nexus 7.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Nexus 7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Nexus 7, resigning a couple specifications.
