Google Nexus 7 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, with a 59.3 score against 58.1. The Google Nexus 7 design is newer and much lighter, but also thicker than the Galaxy Tab 10.1. These devices work with Android operating system, but Google Nexus 7 has a more recent 5.1 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, providing the user a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements.
The Google Nexus 7 has a quite better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a larger number of cores and a graphics co-processor. The Google Nexus 7 has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a higher display density.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 takes way better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7. Galaxy Tab 10.1's storage for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Google Nexus 7's one, both of them have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a really longer battery duration than Google Nexus 7, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Google Nexus 7 is also by far the cheapest.
