Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has an overall score of 66.5, which is much better than Google Nexus 7's global score of 59.3. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has the older 4.4.2 version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 construction is newer, somewhat lighter and a bit thinner than the Google Nexus 7.
The Google Nexus 7 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Google Nexus 7 also has a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 800 x 1280. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a bit more powerful processor than Google Nexus 7, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a much better GPU running at 450 MHz and 512 MB more RAM memory.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has slightly more memory for apps and games than Google Nexus 7, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a greater camera than Google Nexus 7. The Google Nexus 7 has just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has an 8 percent larger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 7. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Google Nexus 7, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
