Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a score of 74.6, which is way better than the Google Nexus 7's general score of 59.3. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) construction is much newer, noticeably thinner and just a bit lighter than Google Nexus 7. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1, providing the user a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.
The Google Nexus 7 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), although it has a just a bit lower screen density, a quite smaller screen and a way lower 800 x 1280 resolution. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with just a bit better performance than Google Nexus 7, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more cpu cores and more RAM.
